You Don’t Have to Hold Everything Together Here

I see you. You’re carrying a lot, and somehow you’re still showing up for work, relationships, responsibilities, and everyone who needs you. Therapy can be somewhere you exhale, be fully yourself, and don’t have to hold it all together.

I know how powerful it can be to have that kind of space. I’ve built my practice intentionally around making therapy feel clear, connected, and easy to navigate, so you can spend less energy figuring out the logistics and more energy feeling supported.

Hi, I’m Lauren.

You know that feeling when you’re doing all the things you’re supposed to be doing, but underneath it, something just feels… off?

You might be grieving someone you love. Or something you’ve been through is still affecting you. Perhaps you’re not even sure how to explain what’s going on…you just know you don’t want to keep feeling this way.

I want therapy to feel like a place where you can show up as you are — not another place where you have to perform, have the right answers, or make everything sound okay.

I’ll listen closely, ask questions, and share what I’m noticing. Sometimes we’ll talk through something that’s been weighing on you. Sometimes we’ll notice a pattern you’re tired of repeating. And sometimes you’ll come in thinking we’re going to talk about one thing and end up somewhere completely different.

There’s enough structure that you don’t have to walk into a session wondering what you’re supposed to say, with enough flexibility to make room for what feels important that day.

How I Work

Calm, clear, and connected.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering virtual therapy for grief, trauma, and relationship concerns to adults throughout Colorado.

I genuinely love being a therapist, and getting to know you as a person - not just what brought you to therapy - is an important part of how I work.

I pay attention. I’ll remember the names of the important people in your life, notice when something shifts as you’re talking, and get curious about what might be happening. I’ll use the language that feels right to you. There’s always room to laugh together in therapy, too. Oh, and your pets are encouraged welcome to make an appearance.

Some days we’ll untangle. Some days we’ll simply make space. You don’t have to have it figured out.

You don’t need to know which approach you need. That’s part of my job.

When I'm not in the office

When I’m not working, you can find me luxuriating in a good book, obsessing over my dogs, listening to disco music, and trying (and often failing) to learn French. I love cooking for people I care about, and I’m a little nerdy about stationery: give me a good pen, beautiful paper, or a sheet of stickers and I’m very happy.

I’m also known to tear up easily when something moves me, especially a cute chipmunk.

You don't have to hold it all together.

If any of this sounded like you, book your complimentary 20-minute call and we'll just talk. There's no pressure. Worst case, you spend twenty minutes and find out I'm not your person. Best case, you feel a little less alone in your own head, and we go from there.
